THE BALANCE

Sometimes in life it, becomes expedient to draw the line. Sometimes the mother who loves her child lavishly, will have to spank the child. Lest the scripture spare the rod and spoil the child be fulfilled in her child's life.

In a group the leader sometimes is friends with members. But sometimes he/she has to learn how to disconnect from emotions of friendship and make strong decisions as a leader. What is it called again 'tough love", we must learn to scold when errors have been made and correct with love.

Today the incredibles will like to emphasize that the office of the music  minister must be held in utmost respect  and dignity.

We are De'incredibles giving our AWESOMe GOD, incredible praise

COMEST THOU LATE OH DIRECTOR (WHAT HAPPENS WHEN THE CHOIR DIRECTOR COMES LATE FOR A MEETING)

FACING YOUR OWN RULES.

So resumption time for De' Incredibles is 8am on sundays. Then guess what happened, all the choir members were early, and then the choir director shows up at Few mintues to nine.

What happens to the choir director, she made the rules, now she has to face it.

The beautiful thing about the incredibles is that we have a dsiciplinary panel, the choir director is also part of it.

SO GUESS WHAT HAPPENS. SHE WALKS TO THE CHOIR STAND TOOK A SIT AT THE BACK AND DID NOT GO UP STAGE.



WE MUST REMEMBER, NO ONE IS ABOVE THE LAW.

OPENEST THOU THY MOUTH AND NO SOUND PREOCEEDETH 

Have you ever stood beside a fellow chorister, whose mouth is moving and you actually think she is singing, and then suddenly you decide to yawn or something else distracts you from singing and then you can't your part anymore.

Or you notice a particular part is absent while the choir is singing and everyone's mouth is opening and closing at the same time, and the you go to the sound guys thinking no sound is coming out and then you realize the mic is actually on but the individual standing before the mouth openeth her mouth but no sound is proceeding.

This was the case of lady ke' i would call her of the incredibles. We had to make everyone keep quite and she had to sing her part alone. Well with this her confidence increased and we pray she gets better and better.

DE' INCREDIBLES.

Hello Dear freinds,

It was quite a busy and fulfilling day for De incredibles. We had our photo shoot.  From there we all proceeded to church for rehearsals.

We had a short food break before rehearsal, come and see hunger. where is the meat-pie, where is the donot, where is my drink.
But in all, the beautiful thing was the joy of sharing together, it builds the bond. Sometimes you just bored of eating at home. It was fun for everyone.

When it was time for rehearsal, some people did not rehearse the song before showing up rehearsal, another did not show up with her choir note and was almost sent home. After much plea, she was permitted to stay.

It will be an awesome service tomorrow at THE ARK, scintilla event hall, by Eleganza estate,  Lekki  at 9am . We expect to see you there as De Incredibles bless your soul with our ministration.

CHOPISM

CHOIR PALAVA  ( TOPIC :CHOPISM)

In music, apart from learning the melody, it is expected that the lyrics of the song been presented be mastered.

Imagine a duet presented by miss k and miss c, i will like to call them. Song been presented "Lord i'm available to you"

After a beautiful solo, time for chorus 

Soprano to an extent mastered her lyrics, check out lady K, Lord i'm availble to you, ........................................................................................( ready action, the act of chopism was enacted as lady k forgot her lyrics up until..........................., and i am available to you).

Music co-ordinator in a state of shock is speechless. 
What would you have done to lady k after service.

WE ARE THE INCREDIBLES, COS AN INCREDIBLE GOD DESERVES, INCREDIBLE PRAISE.

CAN I WEAR PURPLE SKIRT.

The uniform co-ordinator had announced last sunday that we would be wearing Black jacket on a black skirt with purple shirt/camisole.
And so we had our rehearsal for the week this friday. At the end of rehearsal. Choir director announces everyone should ensure they wear The Uniform as stipulated, anyone who wears a different uniform is not going up stage on sunday. All of a sudden someone asks, i will call her "J" can i wear purple skirt, everyone is surprised, PURPLE SKIRT? what is the relationship between purple skirt and black skirt, Another lady i will call her "R" says , i don't have purple camisole, Haaaa you too.

The uniform co-ordianted was alarmed, how come you are just saying this, we announced the uniform since last week. After much deliberation we agreed everyone should wear either a black dress or black skirt suit and accesserise with purple. But the purple skirt was totally ruled out.

How would you have handled this? lets hear your views, are you a choir director or chorister ,a church member or just a music lover. What do you think about this scenario, if you were the choir director, what would have been your response.
